Hand-painted watercolor art on wood slice. Each wood piece is prepped with watercolor ground which allows me to paint with watercolors on the wood. The painting features gold leaf and mica-based paint which has a magical sparkly color-shift at different angles of light. The final coat of resin seals the painting in and gives a nice clean shiny finish. This yellow butterfly features a leather cord to hang in a special place in your home. My art is made with love and attention to each detail. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy creating them.
